HOW TO DELETE MAIL IN THE SERVER.

In certain cases , large email attachments cannot be downloaded . This prevents all other mail form being downloded as well . The solution is to remove the particular message from the server to allow other messages to be downloded . To delete mail form the server , follow the instructions below.

1. Click Start, Click Run.

2. Type in the Open: telnet pop.tm.net.my 110, then click OK.

3. The telnet window will appear , with the words "+OK iPlanet Messaging version 5.0.

4. Click Terminal menu, then click Preferences.

5. Make sure you tick all in the Terminal Options.

6. On the screen , type user ( login name ) and press [ enter ] . For example , if the login name is 'abc' type ' user abc ' and press [ enter ].

7. Type pass ( password ) and press [enter] . For example , if the password is ' pass 123 ' type ' pass pass123 ' and press [enter] .

8. If you have entered your username and/or your password incorrectly , an error message will appear . If you are a new user , your account may not be activated yet . Please wait the required time ( 24 hour ) for your account to be activated. If you are an old user , please reset your password at the nearest Kedai Telekom .

9. However , if you entered your username and password correctly , you will see " +OK sabrina9 is welcome here . Type " list " and press [ enter ] to see how many messages are there in your mailbox .

10. To delete a message , type 'dele' followed by the message number . For example , to delete the first message , type ' dele 1 '.

11. Type 'quit' to go out from this session.
