- Customer having Other parallel phone(if yes,please disconnect)
- Fax machine
- Cordless phone
- Make sure line Cooper(Please check CASS/STAR_RE)
- Manual dial 1515
ERROR 676 :THERE IS NO DIAL TONE
Please check:
- Using Telekom Line
- Manual dial 1515
- No of phone line (if more than 1, please check both)
- Phone line connected to modem port
- Choose the right modem in modem control panel
- Voice mail
- Call tranfer/ Call waiting / Keyphone
ERROR 676: THE LINE IS BUSY
Condition:
- If customer try at other places (similer pc)/other lines and it works
then look ok do line report
- If cust can dial 8 digit try do line report
- Internal modem not competable for POP, please change to extenal modem
- Number 1515 or PABX

- PABX-->TMnet provide PABX,normally customer have to dial a number
(such as 9) to access an outside line.
- Cybermesra or not(local only)
- Suggest try using other line

- Other parallel phone (If yes, please disconnect)

- Dial using Tone/Pulse (please use Tone)
Not Answering
Frequent Disconnection
i. Check setting :-check idle time set in windows,Reduce modem speed
ii. Request customer to try at difference places
iii. Try 8 digit number
iv. Do line report
Connection Slow
i.Check speed whether difference after and before connected
Exp:before 50Kbps now 28Kbps
Note:lighting Insulator will effect connection
. Before broken/struck lighting conenct will fail
. Lighting insulator home high resistance when atruck by lightning,signal
will become drop/weak.

Slow in browsing,certain website
Go to MS DOS

If request time out(website problem)
tracert www.tm.net.my
