MACINTOSH FREE PPP CONFIGURATION

1. Select Open FreePPP... setup from the PPP Menu. The FreePPP Setup Window will appear.

2. Click the arrowhead in the lower left corner of the FreePPP Setup Window. The window will show more details.

3. Click the Accounts tab. The Accounts window will appear.

4. Click Edit.

5. Enter the following information:

• Server name: TMnet Dial-Up Connection
• Phone Number: 1515
• Connect: The normal setting is Directly. However, if you prefer to manually type in your username and password, please choose Terminal Window.
• User name: Your user name, given to you when you registered. If you use Terminal Window, this setting will be ignored.
• Password: Your password, given to you when you registered. If you use Terminal Window, this setting will be ignored.
• Click Connection and set the speed according to your modem's speed:
  • 14.4 Kbps modem: set to 19200bps
  • 28.8 Kbps modem: set to 57600bps
• Set CTS/RTS as well if your modem cable supports hardware handshaking. If you are not sure, set None.
• Click Options:
  • Replace the words 'I'm not used' with tm.net.my
  • Replace the words 'Me neither' with 202.188.0.133
  • Replace the words 'Ditto' with 202.188.1.5
• Click Ok.

6. Select Open PPP Connection from the FreePPP Menu. If you cannot successfully connect, wait another five minutes before trying again.
