How to Program Telephone Number

If we assume the telephone number is
03-98765432 obtain from Telekom.
1.You must key-in the unlock program code, the number is *3001#12345#

2. Then you see the “NAM 1”, please select it.

3. You’ll see “Own number (MDN), please press select, then you key in the new telephone number provided by Telekom, 0398765432, after furnish press “O.K button”.

4. Scroll down and select “Own number (MDN)” and press select, then you can see the empty space for you to key in the new telephone number, just key in 0398765432 then press OK

5. *If the telephone number include area code is less than 10 digits, places like Sabah and Sarawak, you need to add zero in front of area code then follow by the telephone number. Example like 089-654321, you must key in 0089654321 in order for the phone works.

6. This is the final step, just press “back and exist”. You have just finish programmed the Nokia 2280 CDMA Handset.

7. If you want to test the handset, make sure the telephone number is activated. You also need to provide Telekom CDMA Division, the Electronic Serial Number (ESN), before they can activate the CDMA Handset.

• Firstly you must read through the Installation and Configuration Guide here before you connect the cable to the PC and handset.
• Please read the Nokia DKU-5 Data Cable Installation and Configuration Guide and Nokia PC Suite User Guide inside the CD provided in this training section.
• Inside the CD also included Nokia DKU-5 Software, Nokia 2280 CDMA Phone Driver and Nokia PC Suite Software.
